George turned 90 years old on Thursday, June 15th. He threw out the first pitch at the Padres baseball game in San Diego. George is a proud owner of a Roland Atelier 800. He and Dorthy are members of the San Diego Friends Playing For Friends Organ Club.
A native Californian, Craig grew up in a home filled with music. As a young person, he played accordion, piano and organ, as well as classical and folk guitar.
Since the 1960's, Craig has performed in community theater - singing, acting and dancing (ballet and Flamenco). More recently, he has done silent film accompaniments, fund-raising concerts for local arts organizations, and public performances. He also enjoys composing music. In 2015, he created a Fanfare for the 20th anniversary of the New West Symphony in Thousand Oaks, CA. He has also produced three CDs which include many of his own songs, and he has seven videos on YouTube.
Now retired, Craig spends hours on his favorite keyboard instrument, the ROLAND Atelier, which allows him to access the sounds of classical music, theater organ, orchestra, jazz and country. He is still performing and composing.
